Waste Management Plans
The principal aim of this Regional Resource Management Plan is to re-evaluate and where appropriate update, the contents of the four subregional plans providing a coordinated approach across the entire region.
The Regional Resource Management Plan draws upon the identified waste management methodologies and proposals that are achievable within individual localities or areas, whilst having regard for the existing geographical constraints, economic, environmental and social initiatives.
The subregional plans have enabled each of the participating Councils to djust their ongoing management of waste services and make better use of the collaborative interaction opportunities with other participating Councils.
