Plastic Bag Replacement Project
The NetWaste Plastic Bag Replacement Project aimed to change people's behaviour and raise awareness of alternatives to using plastic bags.
NetWaste purchased 10,000 non-woven shopping bags and distributed them evenly between participating NetWaste councils. Community members received one free non-woven bag for every 20 plastic bags they hand in to the council
